Professional Development Coaching
Supporting you in your day-to-day work
Maybe Professional Development Coaching sounds a bit like the kind of thing that other people get, but not you?
How about deciding to put yourself first for a change and make it happen for real?
How would you like to carve out some time from the hectic pace of your day-to-day work to just slow down and reflect on what you are trying to achieve? Well, this is just what this kind of professional support coaching will do for you.
It gives you the chance to consider what is currently happening in your work. You get to take a step back and take stock with the support of an independent and uninvolved partner your coach.
Together, we can identify possible routes forward both in your everyday work and in your longer term career plans. I will encourage you to unpack and learn from your experiences, acknowledging strengths and successes as well as exploring difficult situations you are facing.
Each session will have a particular focus determined by you. By the end of the session, we will have identified some clear steps forward that you can implement in the following days or weeks.
As your coach I will support you with
- working out how to manage your workload more effectively
- tackling new projects or responsibilities you have been given
- working more effectively with other team members
- managing difficult staffing situations
- dealing with organisational changes and challenges
- reflecting on whether your current role offers the longer term prospects you really want
The overall objective is to help you to develop new options for managing yourself and your work with greater satisfaction and effectiveness in both the short and longer term. Career development planning is central to your longer term career success so make it a priority!
Professional development coaching typically takes place every 4 6 weeks, but I am happy to discuss alternatives to suit you and your work circumstances.
