Single sessions
You may just have a single issue you wish to talk through in which case a one off session will be fine.

Pre-booked series
You may feel you would rather have a series of coaching sessions to enable you to work through a topic in more detail. Most clients find it helpful to take some time to work on career issues and a pre-booked series can be used over a period of time according to your needs. I offer discounted rates for anyone booking a series of sessions.

Coaching programmes
These are designed specifically to take you through a planned series of steps to help you with particular career related issues, such as career change, job search and career development.

Career coaching can be either by phone or face-to-face if that is practical. Each coaching session usually lasts for about 1 hour.

Contact me by phone, or email me your own contact details and I will ring you so we can have a chat about how you can benefit from coaching. We can talk about what support would be the most suitable for you and whether you would like to work by phone or face-to-face. This free introductory chat lasts for around 20 minutes and carries no obligation.

If we agree to work together, I will send you a questionnaire to complete. This will help you to focus on what you want from career coaching and give me an idea of the key issues you want to work on.

If you have selected a coaching programme, there may be additional related information and exercises for you to work on. At the same time, we set up the date and time for the first coaching session. Please note that payment is required in advance.

Individual sessions are for you if want to discuss your career plans and ideas in an open ended way. You decide what you want to get out of coaching and define the focus of the sessions. I work with you so you get more clarity and perspective as well as defining a way to move forwards. You might like to cover topics such as...

• Taking some time to discuss your current work situation and decide what you want to do next
• Planning a strategy for your next promotion
• Taking stock after a disappointment eg poor appraisal or failed job application
• Thinking about and review a range of career options you may be considering
• Managing your current work more effectively

Career Transition Coaching
Are you at a major turning point in your career? Has the time come for you to undertake a complete review of where you want to go with your working life? Then the Career Transition Coaching programme could be just what you need.

This is a 12 session programme which helps you to undertake a complete career and life review. It is broken into three stages and as you work through these you will build up a picture of what you really want to do in life and in work, you will then narrow this down to a small number of areas to research in detail and finally, we create an action plan to begin to turn your vision into reality.

The programme includes a wealth of additional materials and exercises to help you complete a thorough review and to identify your best route forwards.

MBTI Personality Profile
Would you love to understand a bit more about what makes you tick? Would you like to understand more about why some people and activities just feel more 'right' to you than others?

The Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a well established personality assessment tool used across the world. It will give you a fascinating insight into your own preferred ways of behaving and relating to others. This can bring a valuable element of self awareness which will help you assess the suitability of career ideas you are considering.

You can take the MBTI on its own as a way of helping you with your own career planning. You will be sent a questionnaire to complete and return and we then arrange a 1½ hour follow up session to feed back and discuss your results.

Career Development Coaching
Perhaps you do not want to make a radical change at this stage, but you are just feeling a bit overwhelmed or jaded at work? Do you need time to take stock of what is happening for you on a day-to-day basis? Career Development Coaching is about supporting you with current work related issues.

Whatever stage or level you are in your career, I can help you make more of your present work situation. This could be reviewing how to go for your next promotion, managing a new project effectively or simply dealing with a challenging situation with your current colleagues or team. It could be that you have simply lost confidence in what you are doing and need to revitalise your approach to work.

Job Search Coaching
Are you in serious job search mode? Are you actively applying for things at present and perhaps not getting the results you are hoping for?

This 3 session programme is about the practical process of searching for and applying for jobs, helping you to approach it in the most effective way possible to maximise your chances of success.

It starts with a review to clarify exactly what you are looking for so you can be absolutely clear what opportunities you are seeking and how you can use every possible way of finding vacancies in your chosen field.

Session 2 focuses on CVs and applications. These are a critical part of the job search process and it is essential that your written applications have the maximum impact.

The third session of the programme looks at interviews. We explore your experience of interviews to date and review how you can improve your performance in future so you really impress your interviewers. Click here for prices.

Effective CV Coaching
Is your CV looking tired? Do you send copies out by the dozen and they all seem to disappear into a black hole? Let me help you refresh that CV so it reaches the parts other CVs don’t reach!

Remember, your CV is usually the first contact you have with a potential employer, so it must have an immediate impact.

I offer three levels of support to help you with CVs and applications.

Effective CV Coaching. This option starts with me sending you my CV & Resume Workbook to help you get your CV on target. Use this to revise and update your CV, then send it to me to review. Once I have done this I will arrange a 1 hour coaching session to discuss your CV and to feed back further tips and suggestions for you to fine tune it and to ensure that you tackle CV writing more confidently in the future.

CV Review. Just send me your CV and I will spend 30 minutes reviewing it for you. You will get a summary of my suggestions for improvements and a copy of my CV & Resume Workbook.

CV & Resume Workbook. If you prefer to work independently you can simply buy my CV & Resume Workbook which takes you through a 12 Step process to guide you towards producing a brilliant CV. Click here for prices.

Interview Success Coaching
Are you applying for jobs and falling at the last hurdle? Do you freeze up when they ask you an unexpected question?

I can help you tackle interviews with confidence. This programme consists of two coaching sessions.

The first session is an opportunity to discuss your current approach to interviews and to help you to identify what you are 'selling' and what the employer is 'buying' in relation to the job you are considering. After this session, you send me the job description for a post you are currently applying for, together with a copy of your application for that post. I also give you a couple of typical interview questions to prepare in advance

The second session is a mock interview for that specific job with time for feedback and discussion on how to improve your performance ensuring that you will approach that interview with much greater confidence. Click here for prices.
